| The Allegheny Outdoor Adventure group has a hike every Sunday. Since the type and destination of our hikes depend on the weather, we announce where we are going, what time we will meet and what activity we are doing this week just a few days before hand. Some local hiking groups plan or announce hikes way in advance, but then end up doing a long hike in the rain, or camp outs on a cold rainy day. We have the flexability to plan an "indoor" trip (like a cave trip!) when the weather is bad. We often start our Sunday hikes at 10AM or 1PM depending how long a trip it might be. |
