Pitt-Bradford to hold active shooter training

BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will offer a class this month on dealing with an active shooter.

“Violent Workplace Emergencies — The Active Shooter” will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 11 in Room 200 of the Seneca Building at 2 Main St., Bradford.

The class will teach participants how to react during violent emergency situations. They will learn how to prevent, prepare and react.

Those attending will learn how to identify and mitigate risks as well as develop an action plan, and review polices and incident response protocol.
