Dennis Duane Weidow, 75, of 1853 Pinchtown Rd., Montgomery, and formerly of Kane, passed away Sunday (May 31, 2015) at his residence.
Born June 15, 1939, in Kane, he was a son of the late Arnold and Doris Cartwright Weidow. On May 6, 1961, in Baltimore, MD, he married Dorothy Gardner who preceded him in death in 2006.
Mr. Weidow received a certificate from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and was employed as a plant manager at Williamsport Paper Box/Ott Packagings, from which he retired in 2001.
He served in the U.S. Navy with active duty from 1957 through 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1963.
Surviving are two sons, David and Donald Weidow; a daughter, Dorene Weidow; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death, besides his wife and parents, by a brother, David Weidow and a sister, Carol Weidow.
Private graveside services will be held at a future date.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 95 Main St., Bradford, PA 16701 or the Kane Cemetery Association, Becky Carson, 479 W. Wind Rd., Kane, PA 16735.
The Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
