Walter E. Perry, Jr., 83, of 326 Park Avenue, Kane, passed away Tuesday (January 20, 2015) at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Born July 30, 1931, in Smethport, he was a son of the lateWalter and Ruby Shuey Perry. He was married in Hermosa Beach, CA, to Mary Ellen Prowse who preceded him in death.
Mr. Perry was a Mechanical Engineer for Hughes Aircraft. He was a member of the VFW Lodge #1132 in Kane and also belonged to the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are four daughters, Lisa M. Perry of Kane, Yvonne Rothstein of Huntington Beach, CA , and Cynthia Jacobson and Jennifer Layton, both of Crestline, CA; a son, James Perry of San Francisco, CA; and a grandson, Nathaniel James Perry of Kane.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
