Pitt-Bradford named ‘Military Friendly School’ for 6th year

BRADFORD, Pa. – For the sixth year in a row, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford has been named a Military Friendly(r) School by Victory Media.

The 2015 Military Friendly(r) Schools list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace military students and dedicate resources to ensure their success in the classroom and after graduation.

The methodology includes a free survey that is available to all of the more than 8,000 schools approved for post-9/11 G.I. Bill Funding.

Support for veterans includes academic coaching and tutoring, disability resources, an academic advising center, writing center and mathematics center as well as career and counseling services.
For more information on Pitt-Bradford or an eligibility consultation, contact Bob Dilks Jr., director of transfer and nontraditional student recruitment, at [email protected] or visit www.upb.pitt/veterans.
