(Bradford, PA)—PHOENIX Rehabilitation and Health Services, Inc. (“PHOENIX”) announces a new choice when seeking physical therapy care, for residents living and working in Bradford and the surrounding communities, with the opening of an outpatient center in the Bradford Mall (1001 E. Main Street).

Joining PHOENIX is licensed physical therapist, Bradley Cummings, PT, CHT, who has been named Facility Director of the new, state-of-the-art outpatient physical therapy center.

PHOENIX and Cummings will offer the community a modern treatment approach to physical therapy, combining traditional manual therapy techniques and mobilizations (hands-on) with the new clinic’s state-of-the-art equipment including the InterX® unit and DTS Decompression Traction Therapy system.

Additionally, PHOENIX and Cummings take pride in the fact that individualized attention is given to each patient. Cummings states, “Patients have the opportunity to see the same therapist each visit allowing stability in our services and continuity of care.” Patient treatment with the same licensed physical therapist throughout his/her entire recovery process is a cornerstone of PHOENIX care planning, as well as, flexible patient scheduling with before and after work appointments, including processing of all insurance plans and convenient free parking.

A graduate of Daemen College, Cummings also holds advanced certification in hand therapy from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, Inc. His clinical expertise allows him to treat a variety of conditions including those of an orthopedic nature, including hands, as well as work-related injuries. “I have dedicated my entire academic and clinical career to improving the lives of my patients.

I am pleased to offer high quality care in the Bradford and surrounding communities where patients can expect to get personalized attention, receive individual treatment plans, and learn how they can improve themselves and their quality of life through education and dedication to health and fitness. Every patient that walks through the door expects a high standard of care. I am devoted to exceed that expectation,” Cummings states.

PHOENIX President and CEO, Mr. David Watson adds “We are very pleased to be able to extend our patient-centric care giving approach to the Bradford community and to join with a talented professional like Brad Cummings to accomplish this milestone in our growth plan.”
