Bernard H. Julian

Bernard H. Julian, 77, of Bradford, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 in Lewis Run, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 4, 1937 in Bradford, a son of the late Anthony D. and Hazel Burr Julian.

He attended Bradford Area Schools. On May 15, 2014 he married Sallie B. Rhodes who survives. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church; which he loved dearly. He was the lead singer and lead guitarist of the band “The Ridge Runners” and he continued his love for music throughout the years. He loved spending time with his family.

Bernie was an avid hunter and loved camping and the great outdoors. He was employed for many years by the former Corning Glass Works and later on the former Bradford Electronics from where he retired. In addition to his wife, Sallie B. Julian of Bradford; he is also survived by four daughters, Diana Julian of Youngsville, NC, Judith Julian of Olean, Debra Reber of Anderson, SC, Sherry Julian-Crandell, formerly of Lewis Run, two sons, Bill Frost-Julian of Struthers, OH, Tim Fink of Bradford, fifteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, one grandson and two great grandchildren. At his request there will be no visitation or funeral services.

Private burial was held in Willow Dale Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
