Members of Pitt-Bradford staff make professional presentations
BRADFORD, Pa. – Three members of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford made presentations to professional organizations during the fall semester.
James Baldwin, assistant dean of academic affairs and registrar, presented “Excel Tips and Tricks” to the 2013 Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Administrators conference held at the Pennsylvania State University.
Baldwin’s presentation was designed for beginning and intermediate-level users and covered topics such as Excel user interface, basic mathematical formulas and pivot tables.
Dr. Ron Binder, associate dean of students, made a presentation on advising local fraternities and sororities at the annual meeting of the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors, of which he is a past president. He also completed six years with the organization’s foundation.
Finally, Melissa Ibañez, director of financial aid, made a presentation to the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators about complying with regulations in regard to returning Federal Student Aid for students who have withdrawn.
Earlier in the fall, she made a presentation for the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators about program reviews and audits.
