Johnson, Frances M.

Frances M. Johnson, 67, of 641 South Settlement Road, Kane, died Saturday morning, January 18, 2014 at her residence following a long illness.
Born August 30, 1946 in St. Marys, she was the daughter of Robert M. and Anna Mae Hasselman Pelgrin. On January 1, 1976 in Kane, she married Gary D. Johnson, who survives.
Francis was a teller at First National Bank in St. Marys for several years, then in a supervisory position at First National Bank in Erie. Later, she worked at Stackpole in Kane, from which she retired in 1985.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kane.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her mother of St. Marys, three stepdaughters, three sisters, Nancy Breindel of The Villages, Fla., Gloria Glott of Monroeville and Bonnie Paglia of Imperial; a brother, Jack Pelgrin of Kersey; and several grandchildren.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by an infant son.
Friends may call from 11:00 until 1:00 on Wednesday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane, at which time a service will be held there with the rev. William LaVelle, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, Kanesholm.
