Betty L. Arnett

Betty L. Arnett, 83, of Lewis Run, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 26, 1930 in Three Rivers, MI, the daughter of the late William E. and Lucille A. Dane Briney.

She was a 1948 graduate of the Bradford Area High School. On February 5, 1949, in the West Branch United Methodist Church, she married George D. Arnett, who survives.

She attended West Branch United Methodist Church and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and travelling. In addition to her husband of 64 years, George Arnett of Lewis Run, she is also survived by one son, David (Diane) Arnett of Bradford; two daughters, Karen (Steve) Churchill of Wallace, MI and Laura Keesler of Gifford; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, William Briney. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Matthew Blake, pastor of the Bradford area parish, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
