Pamela A. Taylor
Pamela A. Taylor, 57, of Bradford, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at her home after a courageous eleven year battle with cancer. She was born on January 21, 1956 in Bradford, the daughter of Kensler A. Schultz and the late Marilyn Reed Schultz. She was a 1973 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
While in school she became a member of the National Honor Society. On April 23, 1994 in the First United Methodist Church in Bradford she married Millard L. Taylor who survives. She loved animals and adored her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the Outer Banks, NC every year and spending time at the beach.
After high school she started her career by working in her parent’s floral business. In November, 2000 she opened her own floral business “Floral Expressions by Pam” and successfully ran that as the owner / operator until her retirement this past November.
In addition to her father, Kensler Schultz, Custer City and husband of nineteen years, Millard Taylor, Bradford, she is also survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Tim) Sloter, Heidi (Jason) Blatchley, both of Bradford, one brother, Gary Schultz, Custer City, one grandson, Cole Blatchley, one granddaughter, Brielle Blatchley, both of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Matthew Blake, pastor of the Bradford area parish, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
